Performance Pedagogy Network is

​

  • a space for theatre and performance practitioners to practice and discuss pedagogy

  • a space to build solidarity and support within a community of practice

  • to foreground and critically reinvigorate pedagogy as a practice and research field in its own right

  • to mentor, nurture, inspire and nourish practitioners at all stages of their careers

  • to share good practice as part of continuing professional development

  • to archive and map pedagogies through multiple media

PPN uses hosting as a practice, supporting our values and etiquette.

Members are encouraged to:

 

  • Value debate, discourse, conversation, listening, inclusion, silence, awkwardness, profanity and dialogue.

  • Celebrate and welcome difference

  • Challenge historical narratives and reflectively welcome being challenged

  • Co-create an archive in whichever way suits their creative processes

  • Respect the etiquette, boundaries and each host
